About Us
El-Shalem Haven is a non-racial
private learning establishment for children with severe
disabilities. Our haven can be defined as a place of
wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety, tranquility, prosperity and harmony.

Our Story:
El-Shalem was established in January 2013. We are located in Centurion and offer a safe, nurturing environment. We address the spiritual, social, cognitive and physical requirements of children who are delicately different. Our highly specialized and experienced team of enthusiastic tutors, facilitators and support staff provide a unique, relaxed, safe and creative learning environment to our children.

We Offer:


Small Classes
We tailor-make programs to unlock the full potential of your child.
We have a maximum of 10 learners per class with 1 tutor and 2 facilitators.


Healthy Food
We believe proper nutrition is vital, therefore,
we offer a healthy breakfast and lunch, as well as a afternoon snack or fruit.


    Life Skills

Our Main Objective:

To bring Good News to the meek,
to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim release
to the captives, and break open the prison
to those who are bound in spirit, soul and body as described in Isaiah 61:1.

We assist children and young adults with:

  • • Cognitive challenges.
  • • Motor development deficiency.
  • • Speech loss; limited or no speech.
  • • People on the autism spectrum.
  • • Any syndrome: diagnosed or not.
  • • Minor visual and hearing impairment.
  • • Cerebral palsy.

  • Who do we cater for?
    Children and young adults with unique requirements,
    especially those who can't or won't be accommodated anywhere else.
